Baked whole chicken leg with yellow paprika radishes salad and baked fries
I did yesterday this simple Baked Chicken Legs with a dry rub spicy, skin-on, and remove the skin before eating. I’ve marinade about an hour before baking so the flavor has infused into the meat. The marinade seasoning can be varied, depending on taste, and this time I have used sharp paprika powder and chilli powder as addition to basic salt and pepper. Oh yes, I added garlic powder too! The number of chicken legs also can be varied.
Ingredients : two servings
1. 2 whole chicken legs, skin-on
2. 1 tsp sharp paprika powder
3. 1 tsp garlic powder
4. 1 tsp chilli powder
5. generous sea salt and freshly ground pepper , salad and fries to serve
My method :
Rinse chicken legs and discard any unwanted part and pat dry with paper towels. In a plate, mix the rest of seasoning. Rub the seasoning all over the chicken legs.
Season under the skin too, so the flavor not only on the skin. I let stand in the fridge about an hour before baking time.
Line parchment paper on baking sheet pan. Bake chicken legs at 200 c preheated oven for about 30 minutes or so. I baked in middle rack.
Oil will come out from the skin, I prick with a fork in the thickest part of the chicken legs, if can go through easily and juice running clear then is cooked. I didn’t need to flip them though, since they already brown.
The crispness depending on taste, and baking time can be varied depending on the character of the oven.
I enjoyed with salad and some baked fries and remove the skin before eating. Yummy !
