This recipe uses lean beef slices which has been seasoned with simple ingredients and keep in the fridge overnight so that the seasoning infuse into the meat and simultaneously flexing the meat fibers, resulting a tender meat after being grilled.
- 200 g lean beef slices
- 1 cup of bell pepper cubes, I used red and yellow
- 1 cup of broccoli florets
- Bamboo skewers, soak in water before use
- 2 tbsp Kecap Manis
- 1 tbsp Ketchup/tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hot chili sauce (optional but effect the flavour)
- 1 ripe small Kiwi fruit, peeled & mashed
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Mix all seasoning together until smooth and add in the beef slices. Mix well to coat the beef all over. I keep in the fridge overnight but if you are in hurry to cook then do it right way.
Thrust each pieces of seasoned beef, bell pepper and broccoli alternating each other until finish.
Set aside the remaining seasoning for busting during grilling.
Heat the grill (in this recipe I use pan-grill), brush with oil and grill beef skewers until the beef no more pink and the vegetables crunchy.
Turn around and busting with the remaining seasoning to cook all the way through.
Oil will slightly splashing around if using pan-grill.
Transfer onto serving dish.
